About Iron Workers Local 201

First chartered in 1917, Local 201 encompasses 20 counties throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. We are more than 430-members strong who are well-trained and ready to work with and for our signatory contractors.

It saddens us to report our first death in 2012 with the passing of Brother Ernest Sims (Dooley) on January 13, 2012. Brother Sims became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1979 and was a 32 year member. Dooley was 74 years old. He will be missed by all that knew him. Brother Sims death # is 2121.

 It also saddens us to report our second death in 2012 with the passing of Brother Charles (RED) Keene on January 16, 2012. Brother Keene became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1949 and was a 63 year member. RED was 84 years old. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him. Brother Keene death # is 2122.

Brothers, we would like to thank all of our Brothers who donated can goods and Safeway and Giant Gift cards to our brothers in need.We  had our annual Christmas party and we had a great turnout.
