About Iron Workers Local 201

First chartered in 1917, Local 201 encompasses 20 counties throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. We are more than 430-members strong who are well-trained and ready to work with and for our signatory contractors.

News
It saddens us to report our fourth death in 2012 with the passing of Brother Virgie Horne on February 20, 2012. Brother Horne became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1974 and was a 37 year member. Virgie was 84 years old. He will be missed by all that knew him. Brother Horne death # is 2124.

It also saddens us to report our Fifth death in 2012 with the passing of Brother Edward (Roy) Adams on February 23, 2012. Brother Adams became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1956 and was a 55 year member. Roy was 81 years old. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him. Brother Adams death # is 2125

It also saddens us to report our Sixth death in 2012 with the passing of Brother Westley Wood on April 9, 2012. Brother Wes became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1984 and was a 27 year member. Wes was 51 years old. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him. Brother Woods death was sudden and unexpected. Brother Wood's death # is 2126.
