First chartered in 1917, Local 201 encompasses 20 counties throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. We are more than 430-members strong who are well-trained and ready to work with and for our signatory contractors.

It saddens us to report our fourth death of 2009 with the passing of Brother Matt Fleming. Brother Fleming died on April 19, 2009 at the age of 54. Matt became a member of Rodman Local 201 in 1974 and was a 34 year member. Brother Fleming’s death was unexpected and very sudden. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him. Brother Fleming’s death is # 2904.
A resolution was voted on and passed to start our regular Union Meetings at 6:00pm starting in June.

Local 201 held it''s Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday March 28, 2009 at VFW Post 9619 in Morningside, Maryland. Brother our banquet was a great success and was enjoyed by all that attended.
